Cloth Diaper Oklahoma
If you've ever wanted to donate cloth diapers to a worthwhile cause, read on! As part of our Choose Your Charity event, which runs from October 1 to 21, we're putting the spotlight on several wonderful cloth diaper charities that collect new and used diapers (even those needing repairs!) to help other families get started out with the initial costs of purchasing diapers.
What is your mission?
Our mission is to help lower income families by alleviating the cost associated with purchasing diapers. We provide cloth diapers to the families in our program and provide education and support to help them successfully cloth diaper.
Which communities do you serve?
All communities in the state of Oklahoma
How many families have you served?
We have served eight families with fifteen babies.
How do your clients qualify?
Qualification is by proof of enrollment in WIC and attendance at any cloth diaper class in Oklahoma.
What kind of support do you provide them?
I provide education about how to care for their diapers and continued support throughout their diapering years while enrolled in our program.
How can others help your cause?
We accept gently used cloth diapers and monetary donations.
Why did you get started?
I have a desire for every family to realize the benefits of cloth diapering. Although cloth diapering saves thousands of dollars over the life of the diapered child, the initial upfront cost can be prohibitive to some. I want to make cloth diapering possible for any family interested.
